Tory junior minister Jane Ellison has lost her Battersea seat.

The labour party won the seat with a most unexpected swing of 10% from Tory to Labour. Not something most of the community expected.

Marsha de Cordova, a disability rights campaigner, took the seat overturning a Tory majority of 8,000.

Speaking after the loss of junior minister Jane Ellison in Battersea, and concerns over James Wharton in Stockton South, George Osborne said: ‘These are not people we should be losing from parliament, and there will be a very big post-mortem coming.’
