Priority booking now open! Our Summer Schools let you develop your skills while trying out new styles of dance. Each week closes with an open day to celebrate your achievements. Who can attend?Students aged 8-18, studying RAD Grade 2, or the equivalent and above 2019 Dates: Week 1: Monday 15 – Saturday 20 JulyWeek 2: Monday 22 – Saturday 27 JulyWeek 3: Monday 29 July – Saturday 3 AugustWeek 4: Monday 5 – Saturday 10 August Students are permitted to attend either one or two weeks (consecutive or non-consecutive). Closing date: Tuesday 7 May 2019 Fees: 1 weekTuition only – £425Tuition and Accommodation £874 2 consecutive weeksTuition only £765Tuition and Accommodation £1,744(includes 10% multiple booking discount on tuition fees for consecutive weeks) Content- Ballet- Group dance/Repertoire- Creative dance- Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Street Jazz or West End Jazz (depending on the week)- Yoga or Singing (depending on the week) Duration/TimeAs a guide each day (Monday-Friday) will run from: 9.00am-3.30pm or 10.00am-4.30pm. Tuition hours will vary on Saturday for the parent open day. A full timetable will be included in the Information Pack sent to all attendees following the closing date. LunchA light buffet lunch is provided Monday-Friday, including snacks and drinks Theatre tripIncludes a ticket to a West End show one evening and ice cream during the interval DiscoA disco and games night is held each week AccommodationA residential accommodation option at Roehampton University is available for students aged 9 and above for an additional fee. Please ensure you select the correct Tuition & Accomodation ticket for the week(s) you wish to attend when booking. Accommodation fee includes- ensuite single rooms- internet access- breakfast and evening meals each day- coach transfers to and from RAD headquarters. A private coach will transport residential students to and from the RAD each day, with chaperones and a housemother in attendance during the their stay Accommodation fee for two consecutive weeks also includes room, transport and meals for the middle weekend. Tuition AwardsOne tuition award will be presented to a student (at any level) who has shown significant improvement at each RAD Summer School in the UK. The award is one week’s tuition at an RAD Summer School in 2019 or 2020. Discounts Sibling discounts: Two sibling students: 10% off total cost of tuition fee, and three or more sibling students: 20% off total cost of tuition fees. Group discounts: A 10% discount will be applied to the total cost of tuition fees for groups of 10 or more students within the same price band. For groups of 10 or more students please contact the student Activities Team to secure you places by emailing courses@rad.org.uk. Please note, group bookings are limited to 15 students per group per week. Multiple booking discount: A 10% discount will be applied to the total cost of tuition fees for any single participant booking two or more summer events at the same time. Discounts will be checked, calculated and verified following your booking submission and the amount refunded directly. Apply:Please ensure you check the ticket details carefully.
