RAD Dance Challenge 2018 – Graded Candidate Information This multi level, national competition gives candidates an opportunity to be part of a creative process and performa in front of an audience. Candidates will be judged on a solo choreographed by themselves, their teacher or peer. Venue: Royal Academy of Dance, 36 Battersea Square, London SW11 3RA Who can enter: Candidates must be resident in the UK and the Republic of Ireland studying with an RAD Registered Teacher. Level 1           Candidates studying RAD Grade 3 or 4 who have passed RAD Grade 2 and 3 or have taken their Grade 2 or 3 exam in the spring session 2018. Must be 14 years or under at the 1st of January 2018. Level 2Candidates studying RAD Grade 5-8 (must not be studying or have taken RAD Intermediate Foundation or Intermediate) Must be 16 years or under at the 1st of January 2018. The entry fee is £30 per student. For further details, please refer to the Information Pack. PerformanceTeachers, family and friends are welcome to attend the performance in the afternoon. Tickets will soon be available to purchase at www.rad.org.uk at a cost of £6 per ticket including VAT. Closing date: 21 May 2018 All applications must be made through the online application form. Please ensure you have all of the information required before you begin completing the form. IMPORTANT NOTICE You will receive an Eventbrite confirmation that your application has been received; please note this is not confirmation of a place at this year's competition. Candidates will be notified after the closing date as to whether or not they have secured a place.
