It seems a woman has been arrested on suspicion of burglary at Thomas’s school in Battersea. The school happens to be attended by the Roya Prince George. Its only been a week since the children returned, and the Prince started there, although it is thought that the Prince was not there at the time of the incident as the reception classes had already finished the school day. Police and Royal security teams are now reviewing their current arrangements with the school.
The school currently has 560 boys and girls aged 4 to 13.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The arrested woman was taken to a south London police station where she remains in custody.
“We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangements after the incident.
“Police were alerted and officers attended immediately after the issue came to light.
“Police are part of the protective security arrangements for the Prince and we will continue to work closely with the school, which is responsible for building security on its site.”
