*** World Book Day Book *** Nadiya, of Great British Bake Off Fame, set about putting together a very unique book a couple of years ago, combining both cookbook and storybook. With a strong knod to familiar childhood fairytales this book weaves story and cooking seemlessly for a fun family book. Examples of the baking extravaganzas are: – Make yummy butter-bean patties and, while they are in the oven, enjoy the story of Jack and the Bean-Patty Stalk – Meet Ruby-Red and the Three Bears, then bake your Very-Berry muffins – Join Rapunzel on an adventure, then make her carrot and nutmeg cookies – Bake some pumpkin and spice flapjacks, then curl up with the tale of Cinderella and her pumpkins The cherry on the top of a great book are the brilliant illutstrations by Clair Rossiter, that really give character to the tales bringing the familiar faces off the page and into the kitchen with you. A very worthy World Book Day Book, this Storytime is not to be missed! Perfect for 5 -11 year olds. Each "Family Ticket" is valid for up to 4 people attending (two adults and two children), and includes a signed copy of Bake me a Story.
